Today Indian Agriculture is at cross roads, though, which we have been able to make the country self-sufficient in food grain production. We could achieve this due to untiring efforts of the farming community backed by the efforts of Agricultural Scientists in providing new technology. Yet food and nutrition security will elude a large segment of rural and urban poor. Despite advancement in science and technology and increase in production, the proportion of population dependent on agriculture has not declined much.

Keeping above in view, the founders Mr.Rakeshdhanuka and Mr.Rakesh Gupta with Mr. Naveen Khemka as Secretary of Skill development Trust, Suratgarh(Distt. Sri Ganganagar,Rajasthan) Maharaja Agarsen Agriculture College,Suratgarh  affiliated to SKRAU,Bikanerin the year 2013. The college has been consistently improving the infrastructure and manpower leading to improved academic standards as evidenced by the fact that ranking in admission to the programme through state level entrance test has been improved considerablyIt is located on Bikaner to Sri Ganganagar national highway no: 62 at Suratgarh in RIICO area near Indira circle at a distance ofabout 170km from Bikaner.
